Arachni Framework v1.0.5 & WebUI v0.5.6 bugfix

Hey folks,

There’s a new Arachni release out, mostly containing bugfixes and some tiny optimizations.

Most of the changes aren’t really worth mentioning and generally include silencing recoverable errors by simply catching them earlier. Similarly, the optimizations are quite tiny as well, there’s no great performance boost, but the Framework will feel quite snappier as request queuing and some de-duplication operations have been enhanced. If you’re running scans against an intranet or localhost webapp then you’ll surely notice the difference.

One thing that’s worth mentioning is the new “login_script” plugin, which basically does what the name suggests; that is, allow you to specify arbitrary login sequences via simple Ruby scripts. The good thing about this is that it integrates into the Framework, so you get advantage of the log-out detection and re-login functionality transparently.

As usual, packages and changelogs can be found in the download page.
